FHANA / FPS-Friese Paarden Stamboak Naming System Each year as January rolls around, there is great excitement expecting the coming friesian foals. A specific naming system has been in place for many years designating special letters for each year to assist in quickly identifing when the horse was born. The names often are Dutch in origin, and can be a single word or even include ranch initials or names, only after the given name of the foal. |
